Tools of Recovery

Get a Plan of eating - It is recommended that we have a food plan for life. So our food will stop eating at us. Write it down and Give it away to a Sponsor.

Start Writing - Write down your feelings daily to get the junk out of your head. Then destroy or keep. But do give it away to your Higher Power.

Telephone someone who cares - Call a local OA member when you want to over eat or need a caring person to listen.  Afraid to talk? Try emailing someone.

Do Acts of Service - Volunteer to help at functions or at intergroup. Its fun and keeps one connected.

Attend meetings - When you feel lost, numb, in a spin, ready to binge, explode or wanting to just share a good day. Share it at a meeting!

                    Local Meeting List

                    Online or Phone Meeting List

Read Our Literature - I like the “Brown book” and “Just for Today”.  How about you?

Find a Sponsor to help support you. Call them daily with your food and feelings.

Maintain Anonymity - Remember "what we say here and who we see here stays here."
